Draught @ Hofbräuhaus, Munich. Cloudy, orange yellow color with a frothy white head. A strong wheaty aroma, with an exotic fruit smell, of bananas in particular. the taste is wheaty and the exotic fruit element of banana, papaya and mango! The finish is slightly sweet and malty.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a dense white head. Wheaty aroma with a mild note of bubblegum. Flavour is soft wheaty with mild banana esteric note. Mild wheaty finish. Solid brew, yet somewhat faint.

Draught @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Pours a hazy golden/yellow color with a longlasting white head. Sweet malty spicy aroma with hints of bananas. Sweet malty wheat flavor with some hints of bananas and clove. Malty finish with some hints of bananas in the aftertaste.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with huge white foamy head. Strong fruity (appe/pear) aroma with yeasty hints. Flavour is yeasty and wheaty with notes of fruits. A bit honeyish finish. Sweet wheaty aftertaste. Very pleasant weissbier.

Draft at Birreria Paradiso. Cloudy orange yellow, big fluffy white head. Nice aroma and classic taste with the usual bubblegum and clove. Somewhat light body. Reminiscent of a visit to Oktoberfest many years ago.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Train bottle swig. Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and dry. Mild minerals. Airy dry malt. Little spice and somewhat insipid banana ester. Dry finish. Bit meh!

best before 07/2004 so maybe not at best. Light golden yellow, good foam head, odd mellow hop nose but not unpleasant.odd dull soft ovaltine malt.

Bottled. Pale orange, cloudy and lively. Very lightly estery, a hint lemon aroma. Mellow, thin body. Soft honeyish finish. One of the worst German examples of the style.
