This draft brew from the Hofbrauhaus Newport in the Cincy area poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and straw yellow in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild floral malts. Its mouth feel is initially tingly and bubbly with a lingering tingly palate and a bubbly aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty light hoppy notes that favored the light hoppy notes. A very average brew. pivo (2688) - GERMANY - NOV 16, 2005
Light lager nose, pale yellow color, sticky white head. Grainy, barley taste - very full for a light beer. Clean and crisp with a dainty bitter tinge to round things off. Thin, quick and refreshing, but classy. Maybe too reserved, but classy nonetheless for a light beer. hotstuff (5258) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 25, 2005
Draft at Hofbrauhaus Newport. White small frothy head with sparse lacing, carbonated, transparent and a yellow hue. Malty nose and flavor. Tingly palate. Light body. papajohn (1340) - San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA - JUL 15, 2005
Sampler @HB Newport: Pale straw color with a medium white head. Not much in aroma. Flavor is light and watery, but it does have hint of sweetness. Tmoney99 (14983) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2005

Yeah, this stuff is lame. Taste is weak, appearance is weak. Watery. Expensive. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - AUG 18, 2003
It's pondwater, German-style! This is a weak, watery, poor imitation of beer... and it's overpriced, too! Dogbrick (13789) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 28, 2003
Light gold and bubbly with a medium white head. Not much in the way of aroma of any kind. Very light and crisp but as with the aroma there is not a lot of flavor to challenge someone. A good introductory beer to the masses who go to Hofbrauhaus and can't find their security blanket beers. JCW (1279) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2003
This beer is created so that the American Macro fans can have something to rave about. Very light in color, white head, little flavor, I thought I was drinking a Miller Lite there for a minute. Not much for the RB drinker!
