(draft @ Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA) Copper pour with a thin white head. Mild spice in the aroma with some light hops. Flavor is mildly spicy and mostly malty. Some dry malt at the finish. Very watery winter warmer. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2011
Spicy aroma of Christmas spices. This beer tastes like a watered down winter ale. FROTHINGSLOSH (8272) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2014 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark red-brown color with an enormous foamy orange-white head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was spritzy fruity hops with a tangy malty undertone. The flavor was tangy sour caramel with notes of bread, faint fruity hops and a touch of perfume. The finish was long with tangy caramel and perfume. Medium body and fairly smooth. Ok.

On tap at the brewery on Christmas Eve. Not sure about the category I entered, an amber lager? Anyway, Pours a clear slightly dark amber color with a large white head. A sweet fruity hop aroma. The flavor is good; clean and fresh, hoppy, with fruity and spicy hops dominating, caramel malts. Very nice.
