Pours a clear light amber color with a thick white head. Light sweet malty aroma. Smooth with a light caramel flavor. Not bitter or harsh but fairly simple with a light caramel malt taste. Ok but not that great. Refreshing and enjoyable but nothing special.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear orangish-amber color. There was a big off white head that left lots of lacing. Good nose on this one. Malty, floral and grassy hops. the taste is good. It is well balanced. Malts, grainy, earthy. A good Marzen.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2015
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark honey-caramel color with a huge fluffy orange-white head that left exceptional lacing. The aroma was sweetish, pefumey, floral and herbal. The flavor was sweet pretzel dough, bread, perfume, herbal hops, honey and a tangy fruity undertone. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Quite pleasant.

On tap at Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh. Sweet caramel malt and noble hop aroma, beany. Richness in the nose, very pleasant and clean. Deep golden amber clear with pillowy white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts malt with caramel, light grain notes, and medium noble hop flavor. Rounded bitterness from start to finish. Smooth and light nutty sweet after. Clean after. Very drinkable.
