COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Diesen Ursprung will unser Märzen nicht leugnen. Ein kräftiges, vollmundiges, bernsteinfarbenes Bier, sehr süffig. Der Höhepunkt jeder Kirchweih!

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small - quickly diminishing - fluffy white head; almondy, bisquity nose with a faint tinge of hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite smooth; shorter sweetish-bisquity finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. Good Märzen.........

2.8
Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2011
It’s warm golden with a creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of vegetables and malt. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of malt, straw/hay, light fruit, and the finish is dry.

3.5
MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUN 6, 2009
(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet biscuity malty aroma with a light toasty touch and a soft spicy hoppy blend. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Solid malty, slightly bready and biscuity taste with shy herbal accents; sweet-bitter malt-accented finish with shy traces of alcohol and herbal hops. Classical Märzen, pretty good (06.VI.09).

jonas (7572) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 24, 2009
Bottle. Thanks pivnizub! Light aroma, a hint apple juice. Golden, fine bubbles, low head. Fruite entry, minerals, grassy dry balance, quick finish, light clementine retronasal. Medium to light body, less chewy than I expect from a Märzen.

ganache (5898) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 11, 2011
Bottle by 21.02.12. Malty nose, clear pale golden pour with a soapy off-white head. Taste is predominately sweet with a tough of bitterness rushing in with the carbonation. Prickle of light toasted grain toward the end, and a distinct alcohol note; aftertaste has a sudden surge of absolutely gorgeous fresh bread. Medium body with a persistently aggressive mouthfeel, slightly floral. A good one.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - DEC 21, 2011
0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Deep golden color. Sweet bready and honeyish aroma. Bready and honeyish taste with delicate herbal hoppiness. Medium ody, fairly drinkable. Not bad, just ordinary.
