Pours a dark clear amber with a frothy, off-white head. Subtle aroma of sweet malts, toffee, hints of grass and toast, slightly perfumy. Taste is slightly sweet at first and blens into a medium bitterness that lingers in the finish. Medium carbonation, oily light-to-medium body.
Subtle, with the right balance between bitterness and sweetness. Very enjoyable, very drinkable. Definitely worth a try!

Aroma has toasted malt, a bit of caramel, mostly sweet but not overly so. Taste starts with malt, bread crust and finishes with a noble hop bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation. Overall it’s quite good. Tasty but easy to drink. nybol (2200) - DENMARK - JUN 4, 2016
WillemsUrenkel (1874) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - APR 19, 2016
UPDATED: APR 20, 2016 0,33 l bottle, Vichy style. Bought at Hof Luckmann, Bissendorf, Germany. Clear amber in the glass, small white head. Malty with some sweetness on the nose. Taste starts with sweet toasted malt, some fruitieness in the second row. Later caramell, smooth, earthy, some hop in the background, low bitterness, low carbonation. Okay. m7hildeb (189) - - APR 4, 2016
