500ml bottle. Hazy unfiltered golden-tan. Foamy white head. Nice noble hop and sweet pungent fruit laced aroma. Really clean mouthfeel despite the strength and complexity. This beer is quite phenomenal, the heavy hopping is quite refreshing. Sweet, sugary, golden malt backbone. Creamy, yeasty, smooth mouthfeel, well balanced by the hops. Full bodied, but very drinkable. Superb, world class example. wlajwl (7069) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 9, 2013
Aroma is citrus, mild/medium sweetness and fruit. The flavor is fruit/berries, citrus, biscuit malts, an undercurrent of mild sweetness and a tart/tangy finish. More complex than I was expecting, very good. Slubgob (343) - West Hartford, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Tap. Golden yellow lacy white head pretty light carbonation bubbling up. Nose of malt and just a touch of citrus hops. Fault malty in the mouth but nicely balanced by grapefruit buyers. Finishes a touch sticky and heavy. Suspect this would go great with food. Excellent autumn beer. hman43 (1775) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - MAY 10, 2014
The aroma is of honey, light grass, with a sweet malt complexion. It is hazy light golden in color with some lacing and a medium bubbled head. It has a honey and orange peel taste with a finish of grass with floral touches. It is a complex combination of flavors that complement each other. bottleforager (3208) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with a finger head that quickly dissipates. Complex aromas of bready pilsner malts, fruit heavy grassy hops and a touch of sweet caramel undertones. On the palate this is a great flavorful beer but remains highly drinkable considering the flavor complexity and the abv. Great mouthfeel with a fruity citrusy start that gets mellowed mid palate by the light malty flavors of bread and sweet malts... good carbonation and a nice touch of crisp bitter flavors on the finish !

500 ml bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours moderately cloudy golden straw color with a 1 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big lemon, orange, apple, pear, pepper, floral, grass, bread, cracker, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange, pear, apple, pepper, floral, grass, bread, cracker, honey, and floral/yeast earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, light fruits, floral, grass, pepper, bread, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very wel lhidden with minimal warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice hoppy Helles bock style. All around good balance and robustness of hop, malt, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering. beersorcerer (52) - Armpit of the Panhandle, Florida, USA - NOV 5, 2013
Now this won my heart over with the first whiff of malt hinted with a spicy/pepper like aroma. And this character is also found in the taste.
Light yellow very light brown color and a fairly moderate carbonation pour a nice combination of fine all the way to large bubbles in the small foam.
A small amount of hop taste and dry palate with touch of sweet malt found in the aroma with a bit of alcohol towards the end.
Lovely - now where can I try this on tap?
