Nice copper colour. Smokey flavours and then richer hops and malts. A well rounded fine tasting honest bitter.
Bottle from Adderscum Co-op. Clear bronze piled Belgianesquely with tufts of vanilla. Attractively mad yeasty aroma with clove, redcurrant and sausage suggestions. Slightly biting hop; smoked and berry undertones, spicy yeast, clove and apple peel. A bit overtaken by the yeast but enjoyably so. madmitch76 (24980) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 17, 2012

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, barnyard - leather (brett). Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, brett, dry. IMO off but for me some nicebrett and dryness ;O) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

tasting.Pours deep golden with a white head.Aroma is slightly brettish with some malty and fruity notes.Flavor is sour and sweet with some wild notes and hay.Thin watery body, average carbonation.
Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, pale amber beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is quite interesting but suits a Belgian beer better, with it’s brett and tropical fruits. Some maltyness too, and a peppery hint. It’s dry on the palate, medium bodied and quite nicely carbonated. The flavor has pale malts as a backdrop for brett and citrus, as well as bitterness. Lasting bitter and bretted finish. I bet it’s not intended like this, but it’s quite nice anyway. Quenching and tasteful. 110319 Dedollewaitor (16174) - Odense, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2011

Cask, gravity, at Bedford Beer Festival ’10. Orange amber. Rather delicious dusty, ashy malt aroma and taste like old sacks in a barn. The barn being somewhere in the depths of the English Midlands, quite a long way from the nearest road. cgarvieuk (24793) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 14, 2010
Bottle at home ... copper ... thin tan head ... musty toffee fruit ... bitter light metalic malt fruit ... very so so.
