Bottle. Jet black, quickly dropping coffee brown head and moderate condition. Excellent sweet coffee, chocolate, roast barley and slight smokiness in the nose, oily liquorice in the mouth with a muted roasted dryness and a gentle coffee bitterness tempered by a slightly fruity note, lingering liquorice and coffee sweetness in the finish.

Albans BF. Pretty rich chocolate and butterscotch, heavily roasty and a bit tarry, not overly bitter, but very tasty.
