August 17, 2012 - on handpull at The Charles Dickens - as Hogs Back Hop. Clear coppery gold with a small creamy off-white head. Smells like grassy corn syrup with a bit of alcohol - taste follows, slightly harsh. Slick and syrupy and thin on the tongue, very little carbonation, with a harsh sweet finish. Not nice. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 12, 2012

First tasted this in Coanes, Johnstone in April 1992. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale copper in colour with a thin white head. Floral hops and cut grass in the short aroma. Pale malts give a digestive biscuit note laced with soft caramel. Floral hop resins give a herbal note to the long dry aftertaste. Finish is again dry with lemon fruit notes present. An ok session Golden Ale. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - NOV 25, 2011

Bottle. Bronze beer with a light fizzy head. The aroma is biscuity, and the flavour is biiter, lightly roasted and hopped with a mild yeasty finish. Overall a very average beer. olio (10472) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 6, 2011
