COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Chritmas. Year round bottle conditioned.
First brewed shortly after the foundation of the brewery, OTT is a very rich, dark ale. We use 4 different malt styles - pale, crystal, chocolate and malted wheat - each of which has a unique character. Local Fuggles hops added at various stages during the boil enhances the beer’s depth. Old Tongham Tasty is named after the village where we brew in a farm on the edge of the Surrey Hills. Its complexity drinks ’like a festival of different tastes on the tongue’ - at least that’s how it was described after a lengthy sampling session.

Bottled 500ml. -Brownish coloured with red glare, small off-white head, whiff of caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light dried fruits and weak hops with rather flat bitterness in the finish. Rather usuall.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2017 Dark brown body, tiny light tan head. Aroma... Chocolate, good maltiness, light raisin, caramel, lovely! Mild dry malty body caramel, light tart touch, fruity, just a tad soapy. Fresh. Nice enough and yes, tasty. Not a world beater but a very beer nonetheless, just slightly too thin.

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Apr 2010 - Dark Brown in colour. Very Malty; roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, toffee. Very fruity; dark fruit and berries. Hoppy; earthy hops. Sweet Roast Malty & Fruity Ale. Dry roasty finish. Enjoyed this a lot. Nice Beer! (2010-04)

Clear dark color beer when put against bright light turns into deep dark cherry red with weak coffee color foam. Aroma of rye bread, sugary and reminds of German dark beers. Palate, full body with thick, sugary texture and leaves bready long nice smooth finish. Taste is sweet with nice roast malt hints and rye bread and has bit of liquerish, coffee and toffee aftertaste to it. Overall nice dark ale, smooth easy going full taste and body would defiantly recommend!

Good everyday dark beer. Thin top, okeyish and forgettable taste. No palate. Ok but forgettable beer.

Slightly chocolatey aroma with caramel undertones. Dark dark brown, nearly black. Spicy under taste about it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Black with a small head. Malty and a similar dry feel to a stout. Excellent.
