COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Chritmas. Year round bottle conditioned.
First brewed shortly after the foundation of the brewery, OTT is a very rich, dark ale. We use 4 different malt styles - pale, crystal, chocolate and malted wheat - each of which has a unique character. Local Fuggles hops added at various stages during the boil enhances the beer’s depth. Old Tongham Tasty is named after the village where we brew in a farm on the edge of the Surrey Hills. Its complexity drinks ’like a festival of different tastes on the tongue’ - at least that’s how it was described after a lengthy sampling session.

Handpulled cask at JDW Hatch End, Harrow. I found this beer far too sweet to start with but as I reached the end of the pint I found myself really enjoying it as multi layered flavours came through. Very good strong dark ale.

Bottle from the Real Beer Shop in Chichester. I detect a hint of plum, chocolate, coffee, some roastedness and it seems like a good balance of flavors. The carbonation factor seems low but this is a very tasty beer that I enjoyed each sip of. I wish we had these beers in the US!
