Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Pours clear amber with a light film head. Berries and malt in the nose. Nice flavor, well balanced. Some grape and berry sweetness, mild toast and faint, herbal bitters. A bit of jam. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. Sweet, fruity malt finish with very delicate hops. I think this is great.

Tried this bottled and cool but not chilled. Dark copper colour with a small but long lasting head an lacing. Strong aromas of marzipan, vanilla and alcohol. Fruity with a hint of cherry. In taste this is bitter but not strongly so-main flavours are in the malt and alcohol. A good strong ale.

500ml bottle. Pours a dark chocolate brown/dark amber. No head and contrary to others, no lacing. I thought the aroma and taste were great. Pretty complex with coffee and spices coming through. Slightly woody and strong hops with the alcohol also being present. A far better ESB than the Ringwood fortyniner i had prior to it.

Draught. Dark red with a small foamy white head. A nice warming winter beer, not a classic, but a decent session drink. Some fruitiness, and a large malt flavour. Some hops in a bitter finish.

Rounded and fruity aroma, with notes of marmalade and marzipan, vanilla ice cream, candy. It’s not as good as that sounds - but it’s still pretty good.. Nice in the mouth - small bubbles - i approve. Taste - difficult to pin down - nothing amazing, but good. First up a slightly harsh bitterness, then creamy sweetness. I’d definitely drink again.
