275ml bottle as part of Hogs Back christmas set (thanks to mother- and father-in-law!). Enjoyed at home at room temperature (around 19 degrees C) in a trappist variant glass.
Appearance - Pours smoothly, a medium-thick deep amber/ruby liquid with a very thin head. Beautiful colour up against the light, although less head than I’d like.
Aroma - Dominated by yeast and hops, undertones reminiscent of honey-smoked ham and chocolate.
Taste - Full-on bitter hops and alcohol dominates from beginning to near-end, overdone to my tastes and drowns out the subtleties of the beer. Right at the end it mellows down and then something very pleasant comes out - sweet and warm, honey, malt and chocolate. I found myself sipping this very slowly in order to get the best out of the beer.
Palate - Thinner and fizzier than I’d like, but not bad. Leaves a smooth coating on the mouth afterwards though which is rather pleasant. jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - OCT 8, 2009

Sourish, laurel, licorice, fruity aroma. Red colour, light hazy, beige irregular small head, no lace. Sweet, bitter, laurel, licorice, hint of fruity sourness. Very oily. Off-flavours, unblanced. Did I have a bad bottle?
From the bottle this has beautiful colour, deep red-orange, hazy. There is almost no head however. Aroma is very sweet brown sugar and stewed plums, slightly bourbony. Mouthfeel is heavy and soft, with low carbonation, like it’s been hand-pulled from a cask. Very sweet butter toffee, rum & raisin flavours, along with some vanilla and oak as well. Rich, sweet, and a little boozy. Yes indeed, I feel the wobble! MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2008
Bottle, 7.5%. Good malty aroma, sweet, dried fruit, orange. Cloudy orange amber colour. The flavour has much of the same as the aroma, dried fruit, some yeast and pepper. Good. yespr (48901) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2008
27.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown to dark orange with a diminished white head. Dark malty and wineous aroma. Sweet malty and roasted too, mild spiced and smooth hoppy bitterness coming through. Smooth roasted malt flavour into the finish. Light wineous touch.

Deep hazy orange. Sweet fruity aroma - raisin and plum - also some marmite. Slightly fizzy palate at first, but also sweet and thick. Slightly winey taste - fruity plums and treacle. Cakey and a bit yeasty finish.
Bottle, from Fin, labeled "Wobble in a Bottle". Thanks mate! Dark copper, small ring of sticky, soapy bubbles. Light caramel aroma, dates, and a whiff of grape flavor--as in the grape flavored gum that 7 year olds think is amazing. Thick sweet rummy flavor, alcohol quite forward, but that actually serves to keep a very sweet beer from being totally cloying, and a sip finishes surprisingly clean. Pleasant sipper, though a little pokey around the edges. Fin (11047) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2008
Bottle picked up from Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, had this 11-05-08 This was labelled as Wobble in a Bottle. Hazy mid-amber pour with a creamy off white head that quickly departs. Some sherry like notes on the aroma, alcohol is noticeable though doesn’t really detract from the taste, bit sticky sweet at times, some dried fruits, its quite nice. I thought that it was a bit tight at this strength putting it in a 275ml bottle though, I could understand it if it was 10% or above. cgarvieuk (26365) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 8, 2008
