Poured a hazy red-brown color. Sweet aroma of mild cherry and some sugar. also light notes of sweat. Flavor of sweet malt that was short lived. Mild bitter finish. Medium body with a dull mouth feel.

Reminiscent in many ways of a Belgian ale (though not in texture, in which it is much more an English ale), but with a lot of intrusive elements. Syrupy, medicinal quality, showing its alcohol much more than desirable. Some hints of burnt cinnamon or other autumnal flavors. (bottle)

Stark strong ale som hette Wobble in a bottle när jag drack den. Söt, men ändå stramt syrlig som en engelsk stark cider. Skulle gärna ha ett par sådana här på lager.

rauchbier (3922) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2003
Bottle conditioned. Ruby red, low head and condition. Aromas are muted but some malt is apparent, becoming more spicy in the mouth along with fruit. Full bodied and oily with a chalky bitter finish and a tingle of alcohol.

tommann (3895) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2010
275ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with no head at all. Aroma is stewed apples, yeasty caramel malt and some alcohol. Some malt to start. Sweet malty finish with medium bitterness. A bit flat and lifeless.

Orange colour with a medium mostly lasting orangish head. Powerful aroma and great taste of bitter hops with some sweetness. Nice palate.

A 3 year old bottle from the brewery (also had this on cask a couple of times at the Shepherd and Flock pub on the roundabout in Farnham, Surrey). An amber/red/ruby coloured pour with a medium beige head. Sweet, boozy, fruity aroma. Tastes sweet, dark fruit/plums, spice, malty, brandy like christmas cake. A warming festive treat, lovely stuff from Hogs Back.

Bottled as Wobble in the Bottle.at Monks Café, Stockholm. Hazy reddish orange colour, small bubbly foam. No visible carbonation. Big malty and fairly dry aroma of figs, dried apricots, coconuts, rum and tart cherries. Full-bodied and medium-sweet flavour of figs, nuts, coconuts, wood raisins and alcohol. Hot finish of orange-peels, almonds, pepper and alcohol. A classy English Strong.

Bottle. Pours a maroon colour with a light tan head that fades quickly. Aroma is rich medium malts and a citrusy hop note. Taste is caramel and pale malt with just a hint of bitterness.
