[5581-20130714] Tap. Coconut toast aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Like eating a liquid coconut dessert bar. Medium body. Interesting. (6/3/6/3/12) 3.0
(Summer Beer Festival @ The Rhino, Toronto, ON)

Hops don’t come through enough to balance out the odd, sticky, weird addition of coconut. Mouthfeel was odd and it was a bit sweet. Didn’t work, in my opinion.

Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival. Watery and Crystal Light sweet. Hint of coconut (but little evidence of beer).

I'm drinking suntan lotion at Sampled at GCBF. Not very good. Somewhat sickening glad I don't have more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Point at Sir John A. Tastes like Broadhead pale ale with sort of an odd, sweet, coconut-like aroma and flavour. Alright.

On tap at Sr John A. Bright amber with a white head. Exactly as advertised (once it warms up) - light cocunut, warm butter, bit of vanilla, smooth. Mild body and moderate carbonation with an odd palate sensation that crosses malibu rum (without the booze) and a decent pale ale...unfortunately it was just as odd taste sensation on the palate for me. However if you like cocunut its worth trying.

Draught at ’The Rhino Summer Beer Festival 2013’. Pours a nice hazy copper with an average size long-lasting creamy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma of coconut, a decent amount of hops, some grain and caramel malt. Flavour: An average Pale Ale with some subtle coconut added. Moderate bitter finish. Average bodied. Just good.

2013-07-14. Crisp golden body small white head. My first impression in the aroma is of cream corn and corn on the cob. I’m told the cocount comes through eventually but once I got this into my head it was stuck. Flavour is similar sweet corny melange and moderate bitterness throughout. Sharp bitterness in the finish. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. I suspect this was better than I found it but I really don’t care for it. May try it again if I get the chance to see if it was the beer or just me. On tap at Rhino Summer Beer Festival, Toronto 4/3+/4/3/10

Turns out a whole lot better than you’d think. Pours orange with ok head and lacing. Aroma of coconut, malt and some hops. Bitter and sweet aftertaste. On tap at Rhino summer fest.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2013 the Rhino Summer Fest. Sweet, and spicy. Lots of coconut, smooth. A novelty from this beer. Maybe the only beer I may have from them.
