Decent bitter. Caramel malt aroma with a dry-hopped presence. This version used Fuggle. Caramel color with a soft head. Medium weight, which would have been pretty good on cask. Hoppiness up front with caramel malts and some nutty grains.

Cask. Amber-red, vibrant colour slight haze. This had a sparkler but it looked awesome. The fresh ekg dry hops are very evident. Soft body, maybe a bit slick but with a touch of cask acidity . Hit of caramel, getting into toffee. Earthy hop character. Increases in complexity as it goes. drfabulous (8470) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - OCT 15, 2012
