COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Straightforward bitter, this guy has a strong hop bite and evident toasty graininess, with stone fruit esters shining through. Drink one and you will have a hard time not drinking three.

Pour @ Hogshead, Denver. Golden pour with an attractive, thick white head. Engagingly flowery hop aromatics. Mountain meadow, fresh cut grass. Mild grain husk. Flavor’s well balanced. Supple cereal sweetness. Sugar cookie. A kiss of grassy bitterness on the finish. Very well done.

Cask at the brewery tap. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy topping. Grassy hops in the nose, crispy pale grains, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with more grass, citrus rind, dry pale grains, biscuits. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good nick. Clean finish, nice grassy bitterness, some husky grains. Good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear, copper, with a beautiful, creamy, head and thick lacing. The nose is pine, peanuts, caramel, and whole grains. Dry and mildly bitter. Medium body, astringent, and stickly. This is a reasonably tasty bitter, but kinda harsh.

(En fût/cask à la source): Jus de céréales littéralement, caramel qui penche vers l’érable et une finale sèche graduelle et florale.

Yellow color, white head. Nice hoppy pale. Grassy, citrusy and a light dose of toasted grains.

Cask at Hogshead. Pours a copper color with white head. Grainy, earthy, dough aromas. Dough, bitter, slight grass flavors. Pretty easy drinking.

On cask at the brewery with jcnielsen. Bright, dark orange appearance with a creamy tan head. Herbal, orange blossom, floral, doughy nose. Light to medium body. A little chewy. Moderate high bitterness. Orange citrus and earth. Drinks fine.

ajnepple (7571) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - SEP 17, 2014
On cask at the brewery. Orange-amber and clear appearance with a lacy tan head. Aroma of mild bitterness, citrus fruitiness, flowers, earthy notes and light spicy hops. Similar flavor, pretty smooth with a medium body. Pretty easy to drink overall.

wchesser (2181) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 15, 2014
On cask. Clear brown with touch of orange. Nose of light caramel malts. Dry upfront, tobacco tannin, with some minerality, lightly sweet middle, and finishes dry. Smooth for the strength but not their best.

Golden-amber with a little bit of haze. Lots of blueberry on the nose, something I don’t normally associate with EKG. Light touch of caramel in the malt signature. The palate is light, sweet, not that much character actually. Would like to try this w/o the sparkler. A bit heavy for cask, though.
