Pours a dark copper. Moderate white head and lacing.
Aromas of piney hops with a touch of caramel.
Tastes of pine, a light citrus, and a nice dry caramel backbone.
Overall a nicely bitter nicely balanced pint. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2013
on tap at C’est what. head has small bubbles, pale brown/red colour. hoppy pine cone like aroma, although quite muted, and a hint of citrus but lacks balance and malt. the palate is the same, hoppy bitter flavour and finish but nothing of malts to carry it through the mid palate. a good but not great IPA. solidfunk (9366) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Great ipa. Good aroma from get-go. Citrus hops, some malt and a slight dose of grapefruit. Creamy head with some lacing. Pours cloudy amber. Leave a little bitter. Carbonation slightly above average. Decent palate. Tap at Rhino winter fest. pushkinwow (2889) - Ottawa, CANADA - FEB 17, 2013
Tap at 2013 winterbrewed beer festival. No opportunity for this one to fully warm up with outside temperatures of -19C with windchill however did my best to enjoy this beer. Bright, slightly hazy amber with a nice off white head. Surprised with the fresh citrus and light pine hop aroma with some nice mellow malt backing things up. Moderate carbonation and mild body, fresh, slightly bitter, nice but short finish. jercraigs (10731) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 24, 2012
2012-12-04. Lightly hazy dark orange amber body with a nice beige head and lace. 3+ Hoppy aroma, nice leafy resiny hop character. Flavour has a good amount of bitterness, mild caramel undertones, muted citrus accents. Average plus bodied palate. 3+ Enjoyable, simple but quite serviceable take on an IPA. On tap at C’est What, Toronto

Tap at C'est What. Pale amber pour. The aroma is very hoppy with a mix of pine and orange peel. A little bit of pale crystal malt kicking around in the back of the palate. Medium-bodied and assertively hopped. Lovely really - not much to complain about (although it could always be drier).

On draught at Bar Hop - November 27, 2012 (unfiltered). Hazy deep amber with a large creamy mottled beige/off-white lasting head, thick lace too. Aroma is very promising (8-) - resin, some alcohol, a little grapefruit pith, somewhat leafy and dry, but not sweet at all, so extra marks there - some citrus juiciness. Taste follows but the citrus is much more muted than in the aroma - decent, but almost has an ESB cloying twiggy character to it - bitter, but ... (barely a light seven). Thick, chewy, astringent, a little boozy and under-carbonated - starts very malty and floral, finishes dryly/leafily bitter. Get more of the aroma character in the flavour and this is Boneshaker without the punch in the head booze to it. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - FEB 11, 2013

Aroma citrus, creamy , C- hop style. Dry finish with hint of caramel.
Appearance fine haze on amber (deep). Large off white top. Nice lace.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied. Some sugars as base , clean hop, simple but works well. Refreshing clean brew.
[4990-20121204] Tap. Slightly grainy bitter grassy hops aroma. Slightly hazy, orange red body with a quick foamy white head. Lightly toasted grass hops flavour. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

On tap. Slightly cloudy dark orange. Light cream head. Malty butterscotch aroma, with a little booze and acidity. Citrus undertow. Sticky medium body. It’s sharp with a medium bitter finish. Found it a little acidic, or not great balance. Drinkable but I wouldn’t go out of my way for one.
