kto (1608) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 21, 2017
0.5l bottle in a bavarian beer set from marktkauf. pours a clear deep amber with a big off-white head. aroma of toasted malts, leaves, nuts, caramel, raisins. flavour of dried figs, rye bread, a hint of tobacco and leather. very malty, medium body. a bit sweetish for my taste, but interesting, not your typical dunkel. rather a lighter bock.

Silvan7 (1273) - Samarate, ITALY - SEP 4, 2017
Bottle @ Lowengrube Castellanza. marrone scuro limpido, schiuma beige, fine non molto persistente. Aroma intenso e persistente, caramellato, tostato e fruttato (fichi secchi), maltato, solo leggermente erbaceo. Gusto abboccato, quasi amabile, amaro solo da tostatura, caramello, zucchero di canna. Rotonda, poco calda, poco carbonata e di corpo debole. equilibrata ed armonica.

Moderat herber, wenig malziger Antrunk. Dabei ist eine milde Süße vorhanden, wenig getreidig. Süffig, nett. 10/9/9/9//9

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

[ As Hohenthanner Schlossbrauerei Kellerbier Dunkel ].
Clear medium to dark brown - red amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, fruity, nutty - bread. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151227]

Farbe: rötliches Braun. Schaum: fein.

Lahev(@ Metro Feldherrnhalle): Deep ruby-amber coloured, stable mid-sized creamy off-white head with a good lace; sweetish toasty-roasty nutty traces, low bitterness, a certain fruitiness underneath; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and quite soft; slightly increasing bitterness towards the sweet toasty-malty finish. Very pleasant and well drinkable "diluted Dunkler Bock"…

BlackHaddock (7748) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2016
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: my third beer of a Bavarian tasting session with myself at home on 9th Jan 2015. Poured into ’Schultheiss’ badged half-litre tall glass. Chestnut brown/red body, clean and clear, on top a beige, fast receding blanket of foam. Malty aroma and taste, semi-sweet with a bitter undertone. Nothing exciting, but a decent enough beer with enough going on to happily finish the bottle and maybe want another one.

Amber brown color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweetish, slightly caramel.

MoritzF (10142) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 3, 2015
(bottle) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, a tinge of vanilla, as well as subtle fruity notes and a whiff of hoppy spice. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty malty base with notes of caramel, bready accents and slightly herbal spice; sweet-bitter, moderately toasty and caramelly finish with a tinge of drying and spicy hops. Not bad. 02.XI.15

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours amber, nose is sweet toffee, malty, taste is similar, dry, little grassy.
