Bottle 500ml (from BZ)beeebon (508) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2015
Clear deep amber color, small off-white head. Bready malty aroma with some grassy and chocolaty notes. Medium-bodied. Flavor is bready and caramalt sweetness. Some fizzy carbonation. Well-brewed sweetish, malty dunkel.
Pours an amber brown, looking not too disimilar to a Bitter, minimal head retention. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, molasses and slightly nutty berry type notes. Taste is definitely sweet, mild bitterness but also slightly astringent. Slightly cloying and sticky in the mouth but the carbonation levels that out nicely. Overall a decent beer. Daumen hoch ! McTapps (6985) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - SEP 17, 2014
