jesperhammer (4736) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 8, 2011
08-JUL-2011, bottle @home, from "Barleywine". Hazy golden/orane with lasting white head. Alcoholic, elderflower nose. Taste is lemon, elderflower, yellow fruits. Medium carbonation, a bit sweet and just a hint of hoppy bitterness in the end. Dry-hopped? Hmm, perhaps? Fine brew.

Fra flaske, dufter syntetisk af blomst ( mint ) er grumset med svagt hvidt skum... smager syrlig men med frisk humle.... eftersmagen er ok ..blomster, frisk humle.... alt i alt en ok øl! ;)

Bottle, bought @ Hok’n’Berg, Cph.
Pours light hazy golden with a medium, frothy, white head. Aroma is citric, some sweet malts, oranges, light grapefruit. Medium carbonation, light oily palate. Flavour is quite vinious, malty, some oranges, grapefruit and green apples. Light estery with a fine, lingering, fruity bitter finish. Good, but the alcohol dominates too much.
