COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At least one a day. This, the most popular brand in the Pivovar Holba, a.s. range, has an unusually rich flavour and the perfect tang of bitter hops.

dr.dod (523) - Szeged, HUNGARY - AUG 23, 2015
300ml draught. Another overrated czech pilsner. Bitter start - bitter end, pale yellow colour, low white foam. Some malt beside bitter. Not bad, not good.

500ml can. Pours gold with a small white head. No lacing. Grassy aroma. Slightly sweet and not much bitterness in the finish. Nice and refreshing pils.

Erzengel (9759) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 11, 2014
Dunkelgoldene Farbe, muffig-herber Antrunk. Der Hauptteil ist vollmundig-muffig-malzig, leicht säuerlich. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, muffig-würzig. Mittelmäßig. 12/10/8/10

djoeye (5411) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 5, 2014
White head, 2-finger, resistant. Golden clear warm-coloured body. Some lacings. Scents of toffee caramel, mild hops, meadowsweet. Tastes caramel malts, grass and hops, fruity bread, tiny butterscotch. Balances well, quite fresh, a bit sweet. Finish has grains, bread, caramel, hops. Fades out nicely. Quite good. 500nl on tap. Aroma is light hops. Appearance is pale golden, light white head. Taste is very light bitter, little sweetness. Very watery. Soft carbonation. Ok.

Bitter light watery taste, not terrible, but surprised this 11 degree is as popular as it is. Get no fruity or malty flavors just tons of bitterness. Surprised that in the ingredients they add glucose syrup. Could be good with rich food but now i’m looking for excuses. Disappointed. 8.5Czk I think at Albert Hypermarket.

A bit sour as far as aroma is concerned, had like 4 in a pub and all in all it was cheap but completely below my expectations! Would not have any more ever, sorry, however it had always been rated good at least among my friends. Holba, get to work!

Iznogud (4696) - CROATIA - JAN 10, 2014
Canned, 500 ml, Hungary. Below average beer, didn’t like the metallic taste.
