When you for whatever reason end up in N-E Bohemia, don’t forget to drop-by in Hanusovice. I reach for Serak whenever I can get my hands on it. The beer has a nice head retention, herbal nose and is well-rounded palate-wise. The only downside is that it is only available in Hanusovice region. And, of course, it is best from barrel. sharkydodson (1604) - St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - JUL 18, 2016
the aroma is malty and herbal with hints of hops and grain... the taste is malty and hoppy with notes of grasses, grain and flowers, very clear and refreshening... bitter and dry aftertaste... auvajs (144) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 17, 2011
Bottle from Albert. Genuine golden color. For a pilsener really great aroma. Medium bitterness on palate, somewhat stronger towards the finish. Honest 11°. Good one.

On tap. Clear golden amber color, white thick head. Aroma of saaz hops, tin of caramel. Light medium bitter, light sweet. Very good and refreshing. iwantalambic (1478) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 20, 2003
Pours a very clear light yellow gold. . . balanced aroma where hops and malt are dancing in unison. Flavours of chewy dough, dry yellowed grass and wet hop cones. Not as complex as some others have seemed on my trip, but still clean, refreshing and easy drinking. gunnar (9085) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 13, 2010
Bottle from Pivonka, Hradec Kralove. Pours a clear golden body with no visable carbonation, but a huge creamy white head. Aroma is grainy, sugary caramel, some hops as well. Taste is light sweet, with a nice crisp grassy hop presence.Lively mouthfeel. Nice long hoppy finish.

Vibrant and sparkling orange gold body. Highly effervescent maintaining a monstrous plume of white atop. Hoppy and grassy nose with a pronounced dose of Vietnamese mint, parsley and lemon peel. Quite delicate and controlled on the palate. Medium to light carbonation with a smoother than anticipated finish. Moderate, mouthfilling peppery, minty and grassy bitterness to the rear and sides. Drops off with great haste. A touch of honey, toasted malt and cereal grain lies underneath to balance it out. Braindeadedly easy drinking. Not too shabby! i have a bit of a soft spot for moravian pilsners. this had a full malty, rockmelon sweetness and some restrained tea-like hops giving it quite a dry finish
