UPDATED: APR 13, 2014 Fairly mediocre Czech beer without excessive taste sensations. There are better beers in this category.

ALLOVATE (3002) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 2, 2017
Another brew I swear I had tried before. In the bargain bin of my local so a good half dozen should see me through. Into a seidel, chilled. Pale amber, bright and highly effervescent raising a good inch of tight white foam. Typical, streamlined nose of fresh mown grass, blitzed Vietnamese mint, honey, chaff, gritty, earthy malt and rye crackers. Lively on the palate but this falls flat as it warms a little. Quite light in body with a pronounced amount of cereal grain coming through. Grassy hops, mildly astringent like Tetra was used under some amount of Noble spiciness on end. Quite bready and drabby. Mild pale malt grainy hit but mostly it is quite thin. Moderate bitterness. Unattractive as far as Světlý goes. Liked the 11° far better than this. In fact it seems this is just a more attenuated version. Drinks OK though! (5.2% ABV, 50cL, BB 25/01/18, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Bottle at 5.2% ABV. Clear golden colour. Tall airy head. Stays. Malts and hops on nose. Minor diacetyl. Similar taste. Light bitterness. A hint of metal on ending.

Clear golden beer with medium white head. Aroma is malty and light hoppy. Taste is light hoppy bitter and sweet grass or something. Light body, but nice taste though.
