Danish: Lys, frugtig ale efter engelsk forbillede med masser af smag fra Marris Otter malten og den originale Whitbread gær. Duften er krydret med Saazer humle, og den fyldige øl har tydelig humlekarakter.

English: A light, fruity English inspired ale with lots of flavour from the Marris Otter malts and the original Whitbread yeast. The aroma is spiced with Saazer hops and the full-bodied beer has a distinct hop character.

[email protected]øbehavnske Øldage .Whoa! Loads of butterscotch(diacetyl overload!) and undeveloped malt. Cereally, sweet and thin. This is a bad IPA.

Draught. Yellow colour with a white head. Butter, light grassy aroma and taste. Medium body with a butter finish. The people at the Holbæk stand at the festival said it was ok, but this is just not ok.

Draught, Københavnske Øldage 2006. Crystal clear golden. Small whiteish head. Subdued orangey aroma. Mellow malty flavours. Little hops. Some butterscotch. Feels more like an easy-drinking pale ale as there is little hops in there. Dry gentle finish.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2006 [Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear golden. The aroma has more diacetyl than I’ve ever sensed before, It’s sweet with rounded mouthfeel. The butterscotchy diacetyl is so powerful that no other flavour has a chance to come through. I usually like diacetyl, but this is ridiculous.

An unclear dark orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity combined with notes of brew mash, the hops can only very vaguely be noticed, if You specifically try to find them. The flavor is very sweet with an acidic note to it - I beleive it is due to some miscue in the brewing - as well as notes of metal. On the positive side it has strong notes of fruit. I really can’t tell that this is an IPA, since the hops are so vague, so I’d say except for the name, this should be listed as a Premium Bitter.

Sampled at the shop "Peberdrengen" in Roskilde, Denmark. Cloudy amber colour with a small dense off white head. Malty aroma with aweak caramel sweetness and some hoppy fruityness. Sweet taste of some fruity hoppyness.

Tap. Golden color with a nice white head. Nice hopy aroma. The taste is a balanced body with a light hoppy palate. Comes off a little thin and lacking a bit of hops. But nice nonetheless.

joergen (28772) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 24, 2005
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy amber coloured with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of malts with notes of fruits and hops. Sweet flavour with notes of fruits, malts and hops. Light hoppy finish. The body is a bit thin. More English Pale Ale than Indian Pale Ale.

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2005
(On tap) Hazy orangey golden with a small, creamy head of a very fine structure. It collapses rather quickly though. Low carbonation. Weak floral aroma. Lovely fruitiness on the base of a rather light body. Dry, short bitterness - but not an overpowering one. I miss some more potency and some real ale/IPA hops instead of Saazer. As of now this has too much of a Pilsener feel. 230805

Pernille (518) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2005
Aroma: almost like pilsener. Very soft IPA with a note almost like honey. Lavks co2 but according to the brewer this will be corrected.
