Slightly hazy, pale golden body with a large, creamy, off-white, long-lived head that reduces to a everlasting layer that laces the glass very well. The aroma is quite strong and is nothing close to an English pale ale at all! In a blind test I would have sworn that this is a Belgian golden strong ale! It’s spicy, floral, yeasty (again, Belgian, which I understand is completely wrong), dry and with notes of honey. The strange thing is that it tastes like a Belgian golden strong ale as well, with flavours following the aroma, but with a tad too much alcohol. The taste is light sweet with a rather long-lasting moderate bitter finish. Crisp mouthfeel, medium body, dry texture, quite lively carbonation. I lovely beer, too bad I’ve got it completely wrong. About time to cut down on the painkillers, I think. trapez (1563) - Hilleroed, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2008
[50 cl bottle, enjoyed 17 months before BB date, from SuperBrugsen Nykøbing Sj., Denmark]
Bottle 0.5 l. Aromatic with lots of fruit and hops. Colour a bit unclear orange with medium white head. Taste clearly ale with balanced bitterness. Since this beer is to go with food, the balance is allright with me. Also lots of fruits and slightly sweet. As recommended it goes perfect with fish. larsga (7508) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 24, 2007
Small white head, orange body with slight haze. Fruity malt aroma. Bittersweet mango malt taste with citric roasty notes. Full, smooth mouthfeel. Bitter mango aftertaste. Nice and drinkable. (0.1l draft.) Pernille (518) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2005
Aroma: almost like pilsener. Very soft IPA with a note almost like honey. Lavks co2 but according to the brewer this will be corrected. uhre (384) - DENMARK - MAY 8, 2009
amber colour. Aroma of hops and caramel. The flavor is also of caramel and fresh hops.

Tap. Golden color with a nice white head. Nice hopy aroma. The taste is a balanced body with a light hoppy palate. Comes off a little thin and lacking a bit of hops. But nice nonetheless. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 21, 2008

En let drikkelig øl, navnet gør at man forventer større humle end der egentlig er. En okay øl. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2005
(On tap) Hazy orangey golden with a small, creamy head of a very fine structure. It collapses rather quickly though. Low carbonation. Weak floral aroma. Lovely fruitiness on the base of a rather light body. Dry, short bitterness - but not an overpowering one. I miss some more potency and some real ale/IPA hops instead of Saazer. As of now this has too much of a Pilsener feel. 230805
