Bottle. Aroma of dark roasted malt. Dark brown colour with light brown head. Roasted malt flavour with a touch of dark chocolate. The whiskey is very discrete. Rather light body and faily rich carbonation which is not that suitable for a stout. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2011

Rating #476, bottle from Nærkøb around Nyhavn Borup (15320) - Albertslund, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2010
A blackish brown beer with an above average dark beige head.
Hmm... A little greyish too. Aroma is chocolate and hallertau(?) hops, with a bit of smoke. Very conservative stout aroma, and very firm. Chocolate flavor at first, then some smoke and at last some alcohol and wood notes. Bourbon notes exists as a subdued side expierience, in the middle of the flavor, at the side of the discrete wooden flavors. Finish is medium bitter for a stout and has some alcohol too... Alcohol might be a bit too obvious and the beer could be more roundly balanced, but all in all this is a fine beer. Palate is a bit thicker than the average, and a bit softer too. Carbonation could be more subdued. Not in the super league of beer, but I will try the other brews from this brewery that I had never heard of before today.
