Bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. ABV 7.5%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Moderate roasty aroma, notes of mild coffee and oak, hints of bourbon. Moderately roasty flavour, mild coffee, moderate notes of bourbon and vanilla. Christian (13823) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2010
Brown with a small tan head. Light dark malt aroma of toast and chocolate and a hint of spice. Roasted malty flavour with some fruit and licorice. Could use a bit more body, and the bourbon was not detected Pinball (12332) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2010

20-NOV-2010, bottle @Ekstrabladets Julebrygssmagning.
Dark brown, light brown head.
Weak roasted nose. Barrels are there but are not in your face.
Thin but fine roasted aftertaste with a little whiskey in it.
Not like many barrel aged stouts. This is a little sweet adding to a otherwise thin body. Best Holbæk so far.
Oh, and they served roasted almonds that had soaked in this beer. They were even better than the beer:-) Nnudd (69) - Helsinge, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2010

clear, dark brown with a thin brown head. Aroma is lightly roasted malt, a hint of chocolate - but also this note of mass produced beer-aroma? Flavour is sweet, dark and some roasted notes too. Ends with a mild alcohol, wiskey note. Body is light to medium, thin texture and a average carbonation. Goes well with a homebaked bananacake, with a thick dark chocolate cover.
50 cL bottle, Holbæk WhiskeyStout label underneath the new label - quite likely the same brew.. Pours dark brown and with a dense chocolate brown head. Soft chocolate and smooth roasted malt aroma. Flavour is rather sweet. Has a nice caramel and chocolate flavour with a mild alcohol edge. Ends smooth and with a mild whiskey note lingering. Nice and smooth brew.

Pours dark brown with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma is very sweet, some vanilla, light milky chocolate and mild roasted. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and okay palate. Flavour is sweet, malty, mild roasted, some vanilla, only a hint of oak, light smoky. Okay, but doesn’t feel too coherent.
Bottle at DØE medlemsmøde.
Brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma moderate to heavy malty (roasted, notes of licorice andvanilla, some wood). Flavor moderate to heavy sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Not in balance, the bourbon/wood/alcohol notes are for themselves. Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2010
Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Dark brown - offwhite head. Sweetness, roasted, chocolate, bourbon, cocoa, light hoppy, wooden, high malty. OK.
