Mild og let humlet øl. Kunne godt have lidt mere skarphed i smagen. Ellers fin øl abemorsten (3615) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - DEC 11, 2010
Shared bottle courtesy of Mike Murphy. Deep clear brown with a light brown film. Yeast, roasted, and burnt malts, barrel oak and fine spirits in the aroma with milky notes. More roasted and burnt notes released in the mouth, with dark dried fruits and coffee added. Sweet, acidic and bitter flavors and an oily texture and a dry finish. Medium body. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 9, 2011
CPH BF 2011. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is raisins, roasted malts, some wood, vanilla and mild coffeeish notes as well. Flavour is rather similar, balanced in a very pleasant way. Also quite bitter towards the finish. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2010
Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Dark brown - offwhite head. Sweetness, roasted, chocolate, bourbon, cocoa, light hoppy, wooden, high malty. OK. yespr (45464) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 4, 2010
50 cL bottle, Holbæk WhiskeyStout label underneath the new label - quite likely the same brew.. Pours dark brown and with a dense chocolate brown head. Soft chocolate and smooth roasted malt aroma. Flavour is rather sweet. Has a nice caramel and chocolate flavour with a mild alcohol edge. Ends smooth and with a mild whiskey note lingering. Nice and smooth brew.

20-NOV-2010, bottle @Ekstrabladets Julebrygssmagning.
Dark brown, light brown head.
Weak roasted nose. Barrels are there but are not in your face.
Thin but fine roasted aftertaste with a little whiskey in it.
Not like many barrel aged stouts. This is a little sweet adding to a otherwise thin body. Best Holbæk so far.
Oh, and they served roasted almonds that had soaked in this beer. They were even better than the beer:-) Ungstrup (37625) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 25, 2010
