2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not the best hybrid, then it’s better to mix an IPA with a stout. It lacks hop!
De beskriver den som en blanding af en stout og en schwartsbier, og det passer meget godt. Men hvordan kan jeg købe øllen 2år efter bryggeriet er lukket? Nå, men der var måske en grund til de gik konkurs. Niller (1706) - Hammel, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2016
Bottle from Voldby. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice notes. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Light bitter roasted finish. Nevalainen (821) - FINLAND - JUN 3, 2016
Hazy dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Taste has quite some "bite" at first, but the finish is mild and balanced with notes of dark chocolate. A good one. MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2016 Bottle, 6.5%. Sweetish fruit aroma. Very dark brown colour, seems cloudy. Good frothy tan head. The flavour has a mild coffee note, a little chocolate a la Nesquick. Low bitterness. Clean lactose-like finish. Good. Bamsen78 (5538) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2016
Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, with touches of roast and chocolate, with notes of lactose. Sweetish flavour of lactose, caramel and chocolate malt, with notes of roast and touches of yeast and hops. Bitterish, roasty and estery aftertaste. Enjoyable.

Clear, nearly black with nice thick bwige head. Faint roasted aroma. Caramely flavour with notes of roast and chocolate. Sweetness is out of balance but otherwise a harmless brew. TorbenJensen (1545) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2015
A black stout with thick light brown and persistent foam. It smells not as much as other stouts, but you may feel a little hops and coffee in the aroma.
The taste initially providing a thick creamy mouthfeeling where the taste of licorice enters the cocoa to a somewhat bitter taste of coffee. There also occurs a short-lasting flavor of hop. It is undoubtedly good for a cold winter evening, but is a bit too heavy for my taste buds. I think there is too much cold coffee in it. StoutHead (979) - DENMARK - SEP 25, 2014
Bottle. Pours almost black red shining through, and a small beige head. Not much aroma to speak of other than a faint roastiness. Taste is of roasted malt, coffee with a hint of licorice. Very schwarzbier-ish. Slightly bitter finish. Not bad. tfredvik (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2013
Close to black body with a large, creamy, light-brown head that laces the glass somewhat. Coffee and roasted notes in the aroma, but also some unpleasant, sour and partially rotten vegetable and fruity notes. Moderate sweet, light sour and moderate bitter taste. Unpleasant flavours of stinging alcohol, rotten fruits and berries and roasted notes. I managed half a glass before the rest went into the sink. The second infected Holbæk beer I’ve had in two days.
