MrTipple (7841) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2017Intense, creamy, overripe tropical fruits, mango, candied citrus fruits. Clear, very dark gold, small, creamy, off-white head. Light bitter. More bittersweet tropical and citrus fruit, overripe papaya, marmalade, orange peel, creamy texture, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Nice. Keg at The Local Taphouse, Melbourne.
PabloZab (1833) - Wroclaw, POLAND - NOV 1, 2017Bottle 330ml. Clear, dark-amber colour. Thin but long ecru colour head, great lacing. Aroma is malty with caramel, toast, biscuits notes and small hint of hops behind. It's delicate but very nice. Medium body, caramel with medium to high, herbal, long bitterness. It is rather in english than amercian IPA style but still is good, heavy in feeling, definitely not refreshing with "dull" bitterness.
ALLOVATE (3109) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 11, 2017A little too far over use-by, but interesting in its age. It pours a misty ruddy chestnut with little life beyond a shortlived wafer of suds. Oxidised, sherry and tart rhubarb on the nose with a hint of blackbutt honey, toasted muesli and grapefruit. Vinous and spicy on the palate with faded, dusty, earthy hops. Quite slick in feel in the finish but light in body overall. Balanced between a sweet, fruity front and dry vinous finish.
The aroma comes through strong in the flavour. Really can’t compare this to a fresh batch so an re-rate to follow. Different. (33cL, bottled on 19/04/16, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
Dervock (1616) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 3, 2017Bottle - pours burnt orange with a big white head. Aroma is orange, caramel and cereal malt. Taste is sweet malt with a drying citrus finish.

Muggus69 (2880) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2015330mL from Beer Cartel. Bottled 29/10/14
Copper body with uniform haze, holds a dense inch of head.
Plenty of hops on the nose; pine, grass, citrus, tropical fruits, passionfruit, with a good touch of caramelly, biscuity malt in there.
Body is somewhat sticky & slick, but at the same time full without too much weight for strength.
Palate offers plenty of biscuity, sweet caramel malt with lashings of piney, citrus, passionfruit hops. Strong bitterness on a smooth long finish.
Well balanced DIPA, towards the lower end of the spectrum in intensity.
jonnyguns (1108) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 7, 2015Bottle from mane liquor. Nose shows dank hops like pine and resin. Taste is much the same, full mouthfeel, bitter pine hops. Solid.
