COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Hopinator is a modern day beer super-power, goes off like the 4th of July and is bigger than Texas! In this supersized India Pale Ale we pack in an exceptional amount of American Chinook, Centennial, Citra and Aussie Topaz hops resulting in a brash bitterness that vies for palate dominance over a smooth caramel malt bill.

Lovely malt butterscotch aroma with a broad grapefuit front and a sharper lemon note. There’s just a hint of late chocolate and that 7% alcohol comes through a little too. When tasted, the hops are more prominent, mainly in the form of sour grapefruit, which is a touch overbearing, but if you really close your eyes and concentrate you get a little malt underneath the citrus assault. All up, a good double IPA, though not as good as the Mornington Peninsula Imperial IPA I had recently.

ChrisOs Kook Tasting. Clear dark brown beer. Light tan head. Rich toffee malt. Don’t remember much about the hops!

Bottle- a fantastic hop aroma. A well balanced beer. A great caramel malt flavour, with a good hop bitterness on the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flat, sweet, off tasting. Don’t think it should be considered an IPA or IIPA. Perhaps a bad English IPA. Damn near no hop aroma or flavor.

Bottle. Smooth caramel to the nose with a hint of hops, pours a deep amber colour with a tan head, little head retention. Big sweet toffee and caramel flavour, a bit of alcohol. Medium body with a slightly stick texture.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy biter aroma with piney hints. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a hoppy bitter finish.

Tap at AHH Beer Fest. Pours clear copper gold with ok off white head. Sweet malt, pitted fruits, caramel aromas, touch of toasted choc malt, citrus and grassy hops. Med body, nice sweet malt caramel, toffee character, citrusy hops not over the top; malt the standout. Good for an aussie crack at an IIPA.

Pours a nice deep red colour, caramel and stone fruit on the nose. Cant taste the "excessive" hopping they claim to have done to this beer only the caramel malt backing.

[email protected] In The Moon, Stockholm. Copper colour, small beige head. ARoma is fruits, sweet malts, mild raisins as well as some mild plum and hops. Flavour is rather hoppy with some sweet malts and raisins. Pleasantly balanced. A year or so after BBE, but it’s aged rather beautifully and especially in the flavour the hops are still alive.
