Bottle- a fantastic hop aroma. A well balanced beer. A great caramel malt flavour, with a good hop bitterness on the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flat, sweet, off tasting. Dont think it should be considered an IPA or IIPA. Perhaps a bad English IPA. Damn near no hop aroma or flavor.

Bottle. Smooth caramel to the nose with a hint of hops, pours a deep amber colour with a tan head, little head retention. Big sweet toffee and caramel flavour, a bit of alcohol. Medium body with a slightly stick texture.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy biter aroma with piney hints. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a hoppy bitter finish.

Tap at AHH Beer Fest. Pours clear copper gold with ok off white head. Sweet malt, pitted fruits, caramel aromas, touch of toasted choc malt, citrus and grassy hops. Med body, nice sweet malt caramel, toffee character, citrusy hops not over the top; malt the standout. Good for an aussie crack at an IIPA.

Pours a nice deep red colour, caramel and stone fruit on the nose. Cant taste the "excessive" hopping they claim to have done to this beer only the caramel malt backing.

[email protected] In The Moon, Stockholm. Copper colour, small beige head. ARoma is fruits, sweet malts, mild raisins as well as some mild plum and hops. Flavour is rather hoppy with some sweet malts and raisins. Pleasantly balanced. A year or so after BBE, but its aged rather beautifully and especially in the flavour the hops are still alive.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of butter and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and butter, leading to a dry buttery finish.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours amber with a small white layer for a head. Smells better than it tastes. Some ripe fruits, caramel and not a lot of hops. Not a lot going on. A mild toffee backing with a touch of hops. You can taste the alcohol - not that its a high percent or anything. I know this bottle is fresh and it just doesnt stand up to your regular ipa

crispi (107) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 3, 2011
bottle (from the brewery). Pours with a small amout of head. Copper coloured. Not very carbonated. no late. Smooth and hugely bitter. citrus hopiness. some hint of creaminess. caramel toffeeness, but not very sweet (due to bitterness), fairly strong, therefore alcohol taste is apparent. Must admit this comes across as fairly bland.
