Draught. Delicious aroma, chocolate malt with tropical fruit hops. Did not get as much hops on the palate as expected, but still plenty of chocolate malt and, not surprisingly, lots of alcohol. More dry and bitter in the finish. ando1712 (11) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 27, 2012
Big hop hit to start with & malt as well. A good start.
Dark Brown, a little cloudy, small head from start to finish but it never completely goes away.
impressive mix of dark malt & hops. Both are very strong.
Long lasting bitter aftertaste with enough sweetness to bring you back for more.
A very impressive beer from a brewery I’ve not been a massive fan of in the past StevieT (2039) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 24, 2014
From a bottle. Pours a cloudy orange, fresh malty aroma with a hint of hops, tiny white head, typical bitterness of a DIPA, smooth and worth a try. gyllenbock (9852) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 16, 2014
Bottle bought at Stewarts Wine, Brisbane, August 2014. Almost clear golden/orange with a small white head. Very hoppy with grapefruit, some grass and pine. The finish was nicely bitter and with some warming alcohol.

330mL from Beer Cartel. Bottled 29/10/14
Copper body with uniform haze, holds a dense inch of head.
Plenty of hops on the nose; pine, grass, citrus, tropical fruits, passionfruit, with a good touch of caramelly, biscuity malt in there.
Body is somewhat sticky & slick, but at the same time full without too much weight for strength.
Palate offers plenty of biscuity, sweet caramel malt with lashings of piney, citrus, passionfruit hops. Strong bitterness on a smooth long finish.
Well balanced DIPA, towards the lower end of the spectrum in intensity.

Garnet pour with a small head that fades to a thin clinging layer.
Intensely fruity, with passionfruit, oranges, pineapple and green apples. Some underlying toffee malt and woody honey.
Flavour is dominated by rich caramel malt and followed by a long-lasting bittersweet finish. Some of the fruit transfers through. Also some green grassy hops in the background. Low on bitterness for the style.
Thick and creamy mouthfeel, with spot-on light, prickly carbonation. SorenE (168) - , NEW ZEALAND - JAN 26, 2010
I wouldnt call this an IPA, let alone double IPA, much too dark and rich caramel malty. (double) amber ale I’d say. Never the less, pretty tasty. Rich caramelly malt backed up by sharp citrus hoppiness. olsvammel (7289) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 3, 2013
On tap at Jerntorgets Brygghus in Göteborg. Milky and creamy smell with hops, fruits and a flowery aroma. Some green apples. Similar taste, round long bitterness. Dervock (1445) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 3, 2017
