From bottle in IPA glass. Pours orangish amber with thin head and aroma that’s more malt than hops. Quite tasty with nice malt/hop balance and a modest bitter finish Dervock (1467) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 3, 2017
Bottle - pours orange with a big white head. Aroma is peach, citrus and hay. Taste is stone fruit up,front with a drying fruity finish with a hint of pepper. roflorence (110) - South Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 1, 2017
Golden, hazy colour poured from a bottle into a schooner glass with a centimetre of bubbly head. Quite a tropical fruit taste with spicy hop flavours. Lingering bitter aftertaste. drjoeng (1418) - SINGAPORE - OCT 9, 2016
5.5%ABV. IPA. maekchu (4064) - Hirakata, JAPAN - SEP 24, 2016
Tapped out cloudy gold. 9ºSRM.
Nose had some nice spicy minty notes. There are some nice ripe tropical fruit aroma notes, maybe papaya with that slightly malty funk.
Mouthfeel is fruit nectar. Sweet, very briefly starchy with thick fruity body. Palate has solid malt suggesting barley bread, untoasted bread crusts. Hops are spicy with cilantro, light fennel, hint of wild scallion, good grassy notes with fresh pine needles and hint of sappy clinginess.
Finish is medium spicy and with a slightly lingering bitter.
Overall for me, it was a nice IPA ride, but falling short of being memorable. Good job, Holgate! Keep those zinger’s coming. There certainly isn’t anything wrong with your grain bill.
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Malty and overly yeasty nose, peach, mild grapefruit. Hazy orange/amber color, frothy head. Blend of hops, some caramel, some citrus. Hopping gets rude and scratchy from mid palate onwards. Medium body, quite fizzy. A bit rough around the edges. No date, but maybe this one is past its prime?

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2016 Very well balanced, pours a nice light amber colour with a light hop aroma. Relly smooth mouth feel with a nice firm bitterness. Could use a little bit more in aroma but otherwise is an absolute cracker! DreadedChippy (8) - - MAY 21, 2016 does not count
Solid tasting ipa. Pours a nice creamy head that slowly dissipates. Nice golden orange colour. Well balanced bitterness that leaves you wanting that next mouthful TedE (1498) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 20, 2016
330ml bottle into shaker. ABV 6%. Nose has pepper, stonefruit, grass. Hazy golden amber beer with sudsy white head. Many fine bubbles. Mineral water freshness is followed by subdued hop finish. Bitter lemon at first then a little cashew sweetness later on. Excellent beer for a sultry summer night. gyllenbock (9977) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 30, 2015
