Imperial Mocha Porter
A luscious warming mouthfeel, with coffee induced bitter notes contrasting with sweet chocolate and vanilla. Dangerously easy to drink, liqueuresque in flavour with a kahlua like finish. Like The Goddess Europa on her Bull, its’s easy to get carried away by this little dark number.
Available from 11th Feb 2011 in kegs as Limited Release, and sometime after Easter 2011 in 750mL bottles, approx. 120 only. Very limited and very special!

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 4, 2015
Bottle tasted at Mane. Pours dark brown with a sticky tan head. Nose is loaded with vanilla, some brown sugar, smooth espresso and dark chocolate. Very decadent stuff with a heavy cocoa powder feel to the beer. Loads of mocha notes swinging towards a chocolate driven style. Not overly sweet which is pleasing. Very tasty

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is malt, roasty, dried fruit and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet leading to a roasty and caramel leading to a dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle from The Wine Emporium September 2013. Nice big head of foam atop a thick looking black beer that Is actually a lot thinner than it looks. Vanilla, toffee and dark chocolate dominate.

Bitter cacao aroma and warm alcohol notes. What a looker this is, super fine dark tan head. Dark brown colour and a touch of ruby. Dark berries and alcohol are at the front of the taste. Some bitter chocolate but I dont get any coffee. Good body for a porter. Needs more balancing of the alcohol to be great.

larsga (7656) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 2, 2014
Small beige head. Barely translucent deep dark red body. Roasty chocolatey sherry aroma with honey and vanilla fudge notes. Dry-sweet honey vanilla fudge and sherry taste with earthy chocolatey notes. Mid-to-full body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish roasty wooden chocolatey aftertaste with licorice spice and vanilla fudge notes. Nice, drinkable, full of flavour, quite delicate, complex. (0.65l bottle, from ?)

0.5 l bottle. Dark brown, redish colour. Light brown thick head. Prunes, chocolate and roasted malts. Vanilla notes and hints of coffee. Coffee and roasted malts. Liqurice and earty herbs. Dry finish. Medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

SamTheBarrel (834) - Vallentuna, SWEDEN - JAN 13, 2014
500ml bottle, poured into a snifter glass. Appearance is clear brownish black with a medium sized creamy mocha head with good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, muscovado, vanilla, coffee and a hint of alcohol. Taste is light sweet with a medium bitterness. Palate is full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Overall a great Imperial Porter, just a little too bitter, and the alcohol is slightly noticeable in the aftertaste.
