Bottle. Ugh. The typical green bottle lager. Laden with skunk and vegetable up front, but lets not be too harsh ... It’s just a regular ol’ Euro lager. Don’t let it age. Serve cold. (#4937, 1/25/2013)

Aggiebob (1216) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - SEP 23, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 Bottle. It poured a clear gold with a nice white head. The aroma is malty with earthy and corn notes. The taste is slightly sweet but it has an off after taste. Ok lager.

Bottle. Lemon, biscuit malt, and light skunky grass aroma.. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Okay body. Typical skunkiness of lager in green bottle. Still not bad for the price.

A decent pale lager. Golden yellow, not too pale. Nose of dough, hint of corn/malt typical lager taste, with a tad more bitterness. Slightly astringent and metallic. Watery and smooth on palate. Overall: ok beer. More body than many mass lagers, but nothing special. Could drink a few of these.

From a bottle. Pours clear pale gold with a bubbly white head. Tastes like corn, doughy malt, citrus, and musky straw. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like doughy malt, corn, musky straw, and citrus.

sonnycheeba (6214) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear yellow/gold. Aroma and flavor are Belgian pale malt, floral notes, very faint citrus, and a hefty dose of adjuncts. Watery, medium body.

Solid Heineken clone. Tastes little bit more corny than the original, but that’s not necessarily bad imo. Refreshing, light, and moderately carbonated. Beats any American macro brew. Great for the price range and I plan on getting more. *Judging by the other reviews, your experience maybe vary due to how long the beer has been sitting in the store and how much sunlight it has gotten.*

What a surprise! Picked up a six pack at Aldi’s, and since the bottle looked like Heineken, thought I would give it a chance. Well, IMHO it is superior in most ways to Heiny. No skunk in this beer, and the taste is very good. Although it has ample carbonation, not much of a head or lacing. It’s definitely worth a try.

This is a beer with no character, but it has little flaws. It works as a drinking beer for casual distraction and companions. Low malt and hops ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is malty with light hops. The appearance is golden. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall not that good.

It’s a pretty bad beer. I had a good laugh about it looking like Heineken. It is what it is, you probably paid about $1 per beer.
