Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty - earthy, keller, light roasted. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, keller, nutty - earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Light brown pour with an off-white/khaki head. Kind of roasty for a brown ale with some chocolate, toffee, and caramel malt notes. A bit of roasted nuts, earthy and spicy hops, and a light fruitiness. The flavor has a good sweetness and some decent roast character. Caramel, toffee, roasted malt, and nuts. Light hop flavor, mild fruit, and a light bitterness. Not bad.
