Draught at the brewpub in Santa Barbara, California. Clear pale golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, grapes, pine, oranges, floral notes. Hoppy grape flavor, toffee, citrus, some oranges. Ok. arminjewell (9744) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 21, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought big tropical fruit, pine, some herbal notes into slight citrus peels, lemon, touch of caramel in there as well. Taste was a mix of orange, grapefruit, tangerine into some pineapple, touch of caramel, toffee, slight bitter grass, finishing bitter. Pretty similar to the other IPAs. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - JUN 5, 2013
At the brewpub before FWIBF. Pours a golden with minimal white head. Aroma is sweet nectarine and chemical cleaner. Taste is a very sweet malt bomb. I’d guess this was a rather old keg. Not much to see here, move along until it is fresh. anders37 (27892) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 6, 2013

Golden orange pour, white head, citrusy, grainy and a great amount of hop flavor. Tasty and one of Hollisters better beers. A nice malt character that is not overwhelming. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Orange pour, white head. Loads of fruity hops, some pine notes, lemon, caramel, tropical fruit. Flavor is nice and hoppy with some good bready malts. Really good stuff here. peteinSD (1468) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Tap @ brewpub. Clear, medium golden pour with a nice froth of white foam that fades to a slick. Aroma is resinous pine, underlying hop bitterness, and a slightly off, grainy character to the malt backbone. Taste is dominated by hop bitterness with some pine and a sweet malt backbone with noticeable alcohol. Lingering bitterness and heavy malt after each sip. Not bad but not close to the better examples of the style. brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 1, 2012
Pours a golden orange color with a white head and some mild lacing. A lot of fruity hop notes on the aroma. Heavy on the pineapple and grapefruit, for the most part. There is a touch of caramel with a fair amount of pine. Nicely fruity, though somewhat sweet. Tropical fruits, pineapple, and grapefruit along with a little sweetness of caramel. The pine hop flavor does provide a nice bitterness, too. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 11, 2011
