On tap at the brewpub. Hazy brown-black color with a durable tan head that leaves spotty lacing.. This stout has some unusal flavor notes, probably from the yeast. More noticeable hops and less dark roasted malt than usual, with some caramel notes. Medium-light body with low carbonation. O: almost like a cross between a sweet stout and a schwarzbier, with less dark roasted and chocolate malt flavor than expected.

Depends on who you ask is right. Sweet stout makes more sense than a imperial Russian. Decent overall. Sweet and smooth.

Ouach.

10 oz half pint glass draft at the brewpub in Hollywood, Florida. The pour is a haze ruby black brown with a small light tan head. The aroma almost nothing, served very cold, as it warms there is maybe a bit of toast. The taste is toast malt along with some floral clove yeast. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a bit of sweet and yeast in the finish. Clean though dull.
