It’s unclear golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has fairly mild notes of yeast, fruit and wheat. The sweet flavor is fairly mild too, and overall a bit too sweet even for a weisse. The notes are the same as the aroma. The finish is sliiiihgtly spicy. pivnizub (10912) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 9, 2008
Bottle (purchasased at the brasserie): Golden, hazy, huge creamy white head, visible carbonation; yeasty and orangey-zesty nose; moderate sweet-bitter and sourish flavour; sweetish-fruity and yeasty finish with an increasing acidity towards the end and a faint illusion of a Gueuze (?). Refreshing....... jonas (8281) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2007
Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Light spicy green orangepeel aroma. Pale cloudy yellow, big head. Fairly dry citric notes. Light body, mellow mouthfeel. Quick lemony finish. A good quencher in the summer no doubt, but feels a bit too much like it is for the kids to me. MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 1, 2007
(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and stable foamy white head. Sweet and moderately yeasty wheat-malty nose with strong notes of banana and soft clovy spice in the background. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied, fresh mouthfeel, just a bit fizzy on the tongue. Moderately wheaty and citrus-fruity taste with banana; yeasty and sourish fruity finish with traces of cloves. Nice and refreshing Weizen.
