2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This beer is much better than anticipated. The malt character is weak and masked by the booziness.
In the can poured with very little head or carbonation. The taste was just OK and I expected more flavour. Didn’t have the German hoppy taste I like. BeerAndPonies (175) - Medicine Hat, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2015
500 ml can, served in a large weissbier vase. Pours a deep coppery-red with moderate carbonation and a smooth tan head that only retains briefly and leaves no lace. Aroma is super-dense and very woody, smoky, spicy, and earthy, with huge vinous, dark fruit, and fruit zest elements; flavor is identical, medicinally syrupy and overpowering, with a moderately thick body and plenty of lingering warm alcohol down the throat. I find it too difficult to drink; it reminds me of an overdone Christmas pudding. I’ll have to call this a drainpour, and I refer you to other, more seasoned tasters to determine if this bock is up your alley. crossovert (14135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 30, 2015
500ml can. Dark amber pour with a fizzy head. Aroma is malt booze perfume. Flavor is sweet and nutty, super sweet, basically a German malt liquor. Dan_the_man (1) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2015 does not count
Awesome full bodied beer with a hints of sweet caramel and a malty presence devoid of bitterness that makes this a true festive bock. It is beautiful in colour with a saturated copper redish hue. If you don’t like bocks, you won’t like this. I can’t drink watery beers or dark heavy ones. And the alcohol content is a plus. We don’t get many Bocks to choose from here in Ontario Canada and I consider myself lucky to have this one as a regular option. MunBro (942) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 1, 2015
Syrupy and malty, dark brown pour. No head or lacing. Cheap beer, not worth buying for taste but $3/can for 7% isn’t bad if you’re cheap I guess.

Clear ebony pour with roughly no carbonation and a reddish hue. The head is lightly tanned and quickly shifts to a porous layer. The nose is pure malt with no seemingly pairing or overpowering scent. The taste is light, sweet and somewhat metallic which to me destroys everything you get in the first 2 seconds in your mouth. No aftertaste, this one disappointed me with its metallic backbone. vadie (1257) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 8, 2014
Rouge foncé avec un petit tête beige. L’arôme du sucré brun et un peu de fruits noir. Le goût est similar avec une finale un peu amer. Le goût, ou chaleur, de l’alcool est toujours présent et il masque la bière un peu. Jayseppi (159) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2014
Interesting beer. Reddish brown hues and a light beige head. The aromas are very caramel-y with slight licorice and tobacco notes. There is a metallic taste at work here that makes the flavour of the beer interesting. No hop profile to speak of and very low bitterness. The licorice and metallic carry through to the after taste. Not great, not bad, just a little interesting. a_sully (457) - - JUN 22, 2014
Rich amber colour with a white but almost tan head. Malty aroma, and a malty taste with caramel notes.

Can. Definitely some sweet liquid bread here. I bit heavy on the tongue and finishes quite strong as well. I expected worse from the look of things, but not too bad, would try again.
