Pours golden with a big quickly receding head. Aroma is malty with some corn. Taste is fairly sweet with notes of bready malt, a bit of caramel and honey, and herbal hops. Its full bodied with medium carbonation. Its not bad, very smooth, very malty but not much to it.

Canned. Clear golden body, huge white head. The aroma is sweet, syrupy. The taste is full and sweet.

This bock poured a medium yellow colour with a bright white head. A little lacing. Scents include cooked veggies, bread, a little corn and cream. First swig was smooth and watery with flavours of bread, light malts and little bit of hops. Finish is malty with bread lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml can. Golden pour, Malt liquorish smell. Falvor is very mild actually, for its strength pretty crushable but its not a tasty brew.

caramel, cereal, grass, dough, alcohol, golden, clear, minimal head, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, oily feel, soft carbonation. Darker gold pour with light white foam that falls quickly. Malty sweet with a light green grass hop presence. Alcohol is apparent right away. Sweeter flavour, and as I like malty beer, I dont mind this. Carbonation is average, and mouthfeel seems on the oily side. There is a bit of heat that is noticeable, but not overwhelming. Finish is a bit boozy with a mild bitter sweetness. Not bad for a lower priced Bock.

Pours a dark yellow similar to the colour of apple juice. The alcohol taste of this strong beer comes through a little more than needed. Flavour of slightly sweet notes with faint bitterness, and not much else.

Golden colour with a white fizzy head. Not much of an aroma. Sweet malt taste with a slight bitterness and mild carbination. Descent beer.

Bierdimpfe (633) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 6, 2016
Bright golden color going for amber. White 2 finger head dead in a minute. Average legs and activity. Faint aromas and flavors of corn, caramel and herbal spices. Invading highly sugary syrupy taste. Light body with prickly carbonation. Faint and short finish ending in sweetness and slightly dry. Overall : A little bland but some good freshness. Overly accessible with a clean finish and almost no alcohol feel.

Im not gonna smash this...its better than I expected and cheap. $2 a can? Hoser beer, cheaper than a 2L of cider and isnt half bad. It has a character and whilst not the most desirable its quite OK....a yearning for another sip is there...so uh...there.

Can - Transferring Old Data - Holsten is definitely not a good brewey. Their beers are standard, easy to drink. This is an okay Bock, not much to say about it.
