Draft, 50 cl. Clear golden coloured beer with nice white head. Nice aroma of hops, grains and some fruitiness. Taste of hops, grains and bad tasting malts, a bit metallic and industrial. Light bitter finish. Disappointing taste, not in accordance with the nice aroma.

Clear golden with a nice, long-lasting head. Aroma is malty with a hint of hops. Taste is malty too but moderate sourness strengthens towards the finish. Nothing special but a simple and decent thirst quencher. (0,5l bottle, bb 26.02.18)

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with no head. Scent is scentless but for some light pepper. Taste is pale lager. Finish is nothing. How does this rubbish exist? Fine.

Very typical pilsener. Net at all better than run of the mill macros. Still very drinkable. Boring

Zlotta (2878) - Hagen / Bonn, GERMANY - JAN 24, 2017
Sampled from 0.5 l can from local LIDL, best before December 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Very faint, slightly sweetish and a bit grassy aroma of straw and grains. Slightly sweetish, a bit grassy and minimally grainy taste of straw, iron and grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally grassy and a bit metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, not bad, super bland though.

If youre not asking for too much from a pilsner this is the one for you. A nice clear golden appearance, not much of an aroma and a simple and straight forward taste. Theres not much to rave about but not much to complain about either. I find it a good companion for watching football when you dont want to concentrate too much on what youre drinking.
