Pours a golden colour. Taste is sweet and watery. Quite a poor lager, worse than some supermarket own brand stuff

Pint at Jamie's Italian Newcastle. Light orange colour, thin head. Not much in the way of flavour but refreshing enough

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2015 Half pint at Norfolk Arms, Glossop. I thought I’d give this its tenth review. No aroma. Pale amber with tiny head, medium carbonation. Chalky sweet mouthfeel followed by short vegetal hop finish. Not much happening, good thirst quencher.

Not so good this one. Titus Andronicus were howling away, they said I was a hipster because I had their albums and only hipsters had them because they hadn’t been released in the UK. This was a general comment, not directed at me but I took it personally. They covered Champagne Supernova which was weird. The people in front were moaning because he kept tuning his guitar and this was seen as ’not very punk’. So there...

The more you drink the better it gets. Once you have acquired the taste it’s a great larger and a cheap drink at £2.25 a pint at time of writing. WARNING - can be quite explosive substance and may cause an inexperienced bar person some trouble when pulling, I’ve seen it happen many times!

Ordinary lager lower than usual in alcohol content, but maintains its flavour.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp grassy hoppy. Cornish and hayish. Bitter and dry finish. Very simple.

Draft. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and mango - a bit light. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrus. Boring.

Keg Handpump at the Mill House, Cinnamon Brow 21/02/2008 (Extra Cold version) Medium carbonation. Clear golden coloured and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.

Cask at the Three Crowns in Macclesfield, not the United pub on Hurdsfield Road, the one on the way to the MTFC football ground. I bought one months ago but didn’t rate it as it was obviously off. I was mistaken, it is that rubbish. Over powering balsamic vinegar, piss stained passages, a tramps vest etc while remaining it’s watery weak core. I feel bad rubbishing some man’s hard work but this is awful. The worst beer I’ve ever had. I’m not going to give it all 1’s as that is a little disrespectful but I was tempted.
