Benjii (3050) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 4, 2011
Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours a nice pink - orange colour with a thin beige head. Maple syrup on the nose with toffee apple and caramel also. Similar maple flavour without being too sweet. I like the oily mouth-feel. Mild carbonation. I’m surprised by how much I like this.

greenmanalishi (568) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2011
Bottle. Fairly sweet, fruity malts. Only a slight hint of that maple. Soft mouthfeel.

Rune (13781) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 4, 2011
500ml bottle bought at the Sainsbury’s superstore in Pimlico. The noisy pour reveals a clear amber body with an deep orange glow. Fading white head. Lighter aroma of fruity malts. Malts and bitter fruits mixed together in the taste profile. Herbal hops to the ending. Soft carbonated. Smooth and easy to quaff (hotel room, London 03.08.2011).

A rating from an old notebook. Bottle. Deep gold. A drinkable sweet and fruity bitter but it’s pretty lifeless in the bottle.

Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
500ml bottle, gift from my dad, drunk 25th Dec 2010. Bright clear orange. Sweet aroma, maple hint. Flavour is similar, with the maple more pronounced. Finish is sweet and soft rather than bitter. Delivers on the maple promise but is a bland and forgettable beer all the same.

dynamiteninja (1932) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2011
Bottle. Amber, thin white head. Fruity, whiff of citrus, whiff of maple. Biscuity malt coming through as it warms. Bittersweet. Sweet finish. Too sweet. This would probably be a better beer sans maple.

Kavu (5256) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 31, 2011
Pours brown with a light head. Aroma is malts, as is the flavor. Can’t taste the maple. Still pretty decent.

BeerViking (5133) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2011
50cl bottle, pours clear amber with a fine white head and aroma of apple, citrus and a hint of honey. Initial crisp bitterness on the tongue is followed by malt and a touch of fresh wood, plus an underlying sweetness, then a bitter and grass-hoppy finish.

Leighton (22836) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2011
Bottle at home. Clear, copper-gold pour with a receding, white head. Some malt and caramel in the aroma, slight pine and herbs. Decent flavor, a lot of sweetness hitting the tongue at first. There is just the faintest hint of maple sugar, plus a bit of citrus bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, slightly sticky, with hints of alcohol and moss. An alright beer.

BeerBaboon (2144) - FINLAND - FEB 14, 2011
Keltainen ja vähävaahtoinen olut. Tuoksusa on hieman mallasta ja pahvia. Mieto ja neutraali. Hieman hedelmäisyyttä myös. Maussakin on pahvia. En kelpuuta eteeni toiste.
