Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich creamy head. Predominantly caramelly nose with some hay, maple syrup and paper. Light to medium bodied with dense, rounded mouthfeel. Bottle at home. Clear, copper-gold pour with a receding, white head. Some malt and caramel in the aroma, slight pine and herbs. Decent flavor, a lot of sweetness hitting the tongue at first. There is just the faintest hint of maple sugar, plus a bit of citrus bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, slightly sticky, with hints of alcohol and moss. An alright beer.
