Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours amber-brown with decent head. Aroma predominantly sweet - maple, malty, biscuits, some toffee. Cloying in the mouth, but fairly light in the aftertaste. john44 (3456) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2017
Bottle. Amber colour. Caramel malty. Mild citrusy fruit. Slight hops. Sweet malty fruity overall. Not sure I found any maple. Rather bland. Disappointing. (2008)

50cl. Copper/red with small head. Aroma is quite sweet, evidently maple, toast bread, cooked fruits. Soft and delicately carbonated. The beer is easy to drink and enjoyable. Quite an interesting break from bad English real ales I had last few days. OK. dutchbeerpages (2439) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - OCT 21, 2016
Not sure if the maple adds to the already malty flavor or if it actually is the maple. Strange sweetness, very nice palate though.

Bottle from.. maybe Asda. Clear amber. Nose is very sweet, toffee, maple syrup. Taste is caramel, maple, light nuts and red fruits light bitter. Decent supermarket beer. Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2016
500ml Bottle from Lidl, Langley Moor.
This has a strange, very pinkish, red-brown hue with moderate carbonation driving a loose, off-white head that diminishes very quickly leaving the beer look a little flat. The nose is equally unappealing with sickly overripe notes jarring with vinegar and making me fear that this would be a shocker. Fortunately the taste is better, with soft, doughy malts prominent and as promised some maple syrup flavours on a dry finish. It’s full and just a little lively on the palate. I had this while eating dinner; its slight stodginess definitely complements food. lokis333 (619) - Biržai, LITHUANIA - FEB 28, 2016
Clear deep amber color with small off white foam. Aroma of malt and bit caramely, quite weak and sweet, typical for a bitter. Palate, Medium body with thickish oily texture leaving calamel malt finish. Taste, Lightly bitter, malty, oily and nutty but quite simple. Overall, As a bitter it is quite nice full body and full flavour but quite typical. AshtonMcCobb (7029) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 15, 2016
Appearance - deep amber with a red hue. A decent head.
Nose - maple, as well as usual toffee.
Taste - more toffee, light nuttiness, maple I suppose.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a rich creamy middle section and a finish which could be a little cleaner, to be honest.
Overall - a decent ESB but I’d like more clean biscuit notes on the finish.
