This light American Lager is brewed with a combination of domestic 6-row barley, corn, and a touch of hops from the Pacific Northwest. The pale straw appearance deceives the consumer as it presents a malty sweet background, with a crisp flavorful tone. Highly carbonated and light in body, this product lends itself to a highly thirst quenching profile. Hop variety: Galena and Mount Hood Hops OG: 8.5 Plato IBUs: 6 Color: 1.9 SRM

On tap at the Greene Leafe - Downtown on 12/05/2009. Very slightly hazy pale yellow body with a medium foamy white head. Sweet pilsener and light wheat aroma. Sweet pilsener and wheat flavor with some light fruitiness. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

Butters (4176) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 5, 2009
Sampled on draft with maniac and maltdawg thanks to sterling. Pours a clear light yellow pour and decent ring of off white head. Nose of sweet grain iis actually not offensuve. Flavor is semi sweet and corny. Simple easy drinking session beer. I was surprised

nimbleprop (8743) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 3, 2009
Sampled at the DC Local tasting. Pours crystal clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Someone at the tasting remarked, "smells like rotting apples." I thought it smelled like a moldy beehive. Flavor is lightly sweet, stale grass, pears. Watery finish. Tastes a lot better than it smells.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 29, 2009
12 oz bottle. Clear apple juice body with small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, rotting apples, some grain, vegetal. Taste is moderately sweet, apple, peach, orange. Light body, low carbonation.

Bottle shared by argo0: Pours a pale watery golden with a thin ring of white head. Has a bland grassy sugar corn nose. Starts with a light pale malty sweetness and some bland earthy hops before a very thin finish. Not much going on here, but it is drinkable at least.

Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 25, 2009
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin fizzy head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of corn, corn and more corn with a bit of toasty malts and grass. Taste is more prominent grassy notes with more corn. Balanced a bit better this time. A little acridity creeps in the finish. Thin-medium bodied. Decent for a light lager.

Serving: Draft. Appearance: Pale straw yellow with a foamy, white head. Aroma: Light nose with a touch of grain and grass. Flavor: Light grain and malt sweetness but a decent hop bite. Slight grass notes on the hop end. This isn’t too bad for a light beer. Palate: High carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a medium-short finish. Overall: I have certainly had worse light beers. I wouldn’t mind having a few of these during the dog days of summer.
