that may be the highest score I have ever given to a lager. suprised me how much I liked this one- favorite in the flight at the brewery. Pours a perfect copper color with a decent tan head- even more impressive considering it’s only a 4 oz pour. some sweetness but also some interest in the finish- sort of the best of both worlds ale/ lager. crisp and clean but still some toffee and malty goodness on the palate. excellent.

On tap at the Wing House in Charleston, SC. Was a nice unexpected treat considering their selection was rather limited. Dark brown color, along the lines of TurboDog, with consistent lacing. Notes of vanilla, caramel, and nuts roasted with the malt, not too much of a hoppy flavor, and little alcohol presence. Overall, one of the best lagers I have tried to date. Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tart fruits with a bit of toffee. The taste is toffee malts, stone fruits and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied.
